Yoga is an ancient Indian practice designed to enhance health and well being by balancing the physiological systems of the body as well as lead an individual into meditative absorption, a self-transcendent state of mind marked by extreme happiness and calm. Working in synergist to practice, the philosophical element of Yoga primarily focuses on contentment within a minimalistic lifestyle, respect for ethical codes, and continuous self-reflection, awareness cultivation and moral refinement.
